Marina Isabelle Klauser was born in the depths of the 80s in a small village in Switzerland. Barely of age, she studied directing at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne. After several years away, she returned to her home country to study screenwriting at the Zurich University of the Arts.

So far she has made several internationally evaluated short films and is currently writing a historical tragedy à la Barry Lyndon and a dramedy series about mourning - after the destruction of the patriarchy one of her favorite topics.

She has a good sense of humorous storytelling, likes bizarre situations, character actors and elaborate decors.
